Pet Therapy Dogs
We’ve had another visit at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home from the adorable Gizmo and Charlie, our Therapy Dogs, and their lovely owner Maria.
Our residents love it when the lively duo come to say hello. As always, the pair greeted each of our residents and provided them with cuddles and comfort. Many of our residents previously owned their own dogs and highly value this time with Charlie and Gizmo. It often leads to lovely conversations, with our ladies and gents sharing stories with one another about their pets.
Charlie and Gizmo offer a wonderful support and engagement opportunity for all our residents, and it is always wonderful to see the mutual adoration between the dogs and everyone at our Home. This visit brought smiles to everyone’s faces and lots of laughter, especially when Charlie decided that he needed to give everybody some doggy kisses this week!
