Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents enjoy Christmas lights and Christingle service

With Christmas lights twinkling across the local area, our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents were eager to get out and soak up the festive atmosphere. We decorated our minibus with tinsel and played cheerful Christmas music as we set off on our evening adventure.

Everyone loved spotting the colourful displays and singing along to their favourite Christmas tunes as we drove through Dartford. To make the evening even more magical, we had a surprise encounter with Father Christmas himself, who was touring the neighbourhood on his special Christmas engine! Our residents were thrilled as he waved and rang his bell to greet them.

Later in the week, some of our residents joined the Christingle service at St Michael’s of All Angels Church in Wilmington. It was a joyful afternoon spent with friends from our local community, making Christingle oranges and sharing laughter (and lots of sweets!).

What a wonderful week, filled with warm community spirit.
