Our residents at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home have discovered a real passion for baking and creating tasty treats through our weekly Cooking Club, which has quickly become one of the most popular activities at our Home Each week, our residents look forward to rolling up their sleeves and preparing something delicious for everyone to share. Cooking Club has become a source of excitement for all, as the whole Home knows they will get to enjoy the results alongside a lovely hot drink or even their favourite tipple.
Over the past few weeks, our residents have made a tempting variety of sweet delights, including coffee cake, chocolate and Guinness cake, chocolate cornflake cakes, and Eton Mess. Each creation has been enjoyed and appreciated by everyone at our Home, with plenty of compliments and smiles all round. We cannot wait to see (and taste!) what mouth-watering creation our residents will be making in Cooking Club next.
Residents at Sonya Lodge Care Home had a wonderful time during their cooking club session, creating delicious chocolate bakes and beautifully decorated cupcakes before sharing afternoon tea together. The activity was filled with laughter, creativity and plenty of sweet treats to enjoy.
