VE Day celebrations
We celebrated VE Day at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home on Saturday 8 May with a live WW2 concert in our garden, performed by the wonderful singer Jasmine.
Our residents enjoyed a traditional British lunch of sausage and mash, followed by lots of fun and dancing. Jo from our Recreation and Well-Being Team even dressed up as a land girl!
Garden ready
We have been busy at Sonya Lodge getting our garden prepared for summer, for all our residents and families to enjoy. Doris loved getting stuck in and helping out with potting our new plants!
