We loved going all out with our decorations for Valentine’s Day here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home.
We filled the Lodge with bunting, heart balloons, cut out heart decorations and our special Memory Tree, covered with heart shaped messages.
Everyone had fun taking photos with our heart-covered selfie frame and we sang karaoke love songs to celebrate the day.
Our delicious dinner was cooked by Chef Hannah and included;
- Melba toast and pate
- Roast beef and trimmings or macaroni and cheese
- Home made heart shaped chocolate brownies or home made trifle
Our residents really ‘felt the love‘ and we were delighted that everyone had such a memorable day.
