Many of our residents here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home have enjoyed playing bean bag games and soft ball this week.
Staff and residents had great fun trying to get the bean bags and balls into the holes. Our resident Ann opted for a bit of drawing and some Noughts and Crosses (winning one and losing one game!) – she loves playing this game.
We are delighted to have our first bumper crop of home grown strawberries – hand picked by our resident Doris. These were shared out among our residents and they went down a treat – yummy!
Life is all about relationships; Ellen and Doff are two of our residents who have formed a special friendship. Seeing them having a chat and touching hands really warms our hearts.
