We love this festive time of year at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home and our residents have been getting into the festive spirit with a range of Christmas themed activities this week.
Some of our ladies and gents enjoyed sitting down with a cup of tea or hot chocolate to enjoy a Christmas film together, while others enjoyed spending time doing Christmas themed arts and crafts, including making Christmas cards and festive colouring.
A group of our residents also attended the St Michaels Church Christmas Fair, were they enjoyed delicious bacon rolls and a warming cup of hot chocolate. There was also some arts and crafts to enjoy together at the fair and a selection of stalls where they could buy books and play the Christmas Tombola.
Everyone had a fantastic time and were only too happy to tell us all about it when they came home!
