Our Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home residents maintain a close relationship with our local church, St Michaels.
The church community always invite us to events and activities, and many of our residents enjoy attending regular church services there.
Recently our residents have enjoyed visiting the weekly coffee morning at the church for a piece of homemade cake and a hot drink. This is an opportunity for our residents to catch up with friends from the local community and the church. We are always welcomed in with open arms, friendly faces and fantastic conversations.
Our residents have also been enjoying both the regular Sunday morning church service at St Michaels Church and our praise and worship service that takes place at Sonya Lodge.
Jean Hook from St Michaels Church leads the service at Sonya Lodge and it is lovely to see so many of our residents enjoying this time together and filling our Home with beautiful singing.
