This week at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home we were lucky to have a visit from adorable Dude the Shetland pony. Dude is trained to be very sociable and was a very welcomed visitor. He was adorned with his Christmas antlers and jumper, bringing the festive spirit into our Home. Our residents’ faces lit up with glee as Dude walked around to see them all.
Everyone loved petting and spending special moments with Dude. His gentle and affectionate nature was a therapeutic treat for our residents, who loved this visit so much that they are continually talking about it and asking when they will see him again!
