Our Resident Liaison here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, Nikki, is getting married in a few weeks’ time, so the residents wanted to give her a good send off so they threw her a Hen Party.
We started off the festivities by dressing up in veils, sashes, and glasses. We also decorated Sonya Lodge (and Nikki!) with balloons and bunting. Once everybody was dressed for the occasion the fun started with a very competitive game of love-themed picture bingo. This was followed by party of music with lots of singing, dancing, and laughter.
To round off the party, the residents then raised a glass to our bride-to-be and enjoyed some delicious cakes and sweets.
It was a wonderful party and lots of fun was had by all!
