On Thursday 30 January we were delighted to welcome DJ Nick to Sonya Lodge Care Home, who came to play a selection of Motown music for our residents, with his ‘Soul Train Sounds of the 70s and 80s’.
His music was wonderful and created a real buzz in our Home. Fun was had by everyone, as we remembered classic old tunes, and hit the dance floor for a boogie!
We had fun with inflatable guitar and saxophone props, microphones, funky glasses, glittery shakers and cut out photo pictures too, which were a brilliant giggle!
Thanks for a super time Nick, we loved it!
