We joined in with our local community this week, as we made rainbow pictures to display in our windows here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home.
During this difficult time, locals around our village (and people nationwide) are being encouraged to put rainbows in their windows for children to spot and count as they take walks outside.
This lovely idea promotes activity, but also peace and love, at a time when we are all pulling together. And it’s really taking off all over!
Our residents proudly painted and coloured their own rainbows and these are displayed for our local community to count.
A child of one of our working mums text her recently to say “Mummy, you have got eleven rainbows!”
