Jean Hook is a wonderful Lay Minister from our local St Michael and All Angels Church and she visited us this week at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home for our regular praise and worship group.
Jean greeted each of our residents with a warm and friendly hello, before beginning with her theme of the week which was ‘God’s peace‘.
She sang hymns with our ladies and gents, and kindly shared the printed words so that everyone could join in to the full. She read a sermon and said prayers before finishing with the Lords prayer.
Our residents really enjoy their time with Jean and we are pleased to be able to support their spiritual needs.
