It was ‘Chocolate Covered Anything Day’ on Friday 17 December and as most people are aware, we love celebrating all special days at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, no matter how obscure they are!
So we were only too happy to celebrate this special day that incorporated our favourite treats with some delicious chocolate.
Our residents got to work by dipping an array of sweet goodies in some divine melted chocolate. They dipped strawberries, marshmallows, biscuits and bananas into the chocolate and then put them aside to set….although some of our residents were so eager to try these ‘naughty but nice’ treats that not all of them made it to the fridge to set!
Chocolate heaven!
