At Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home, we were delighted to celebrate our lovely Ellen’s 90th birthday recently – a truly special milestone for a much-loved member of our Home. Ellen is such a big character at The Lodge, always bringing laughter and joy to those around her with her cheeky giggles and fun-loving nature.
She enjoyed a fantastic couple of days of celebrations, surrounded by family, friends, residents and our team members. Her special day was marked with beautiful cards, thoughtful presents, colourful balloons, birthday banners and of course a delicious birthday cake made by our talented Chefs.
Ellen also enjoyed a wonderful get-together with her family in our Forget-Me-Not Tearoom, where she was showered with love and plenty of ‘Happy birthday‘ renditions – which she happily joined in singing!
It was such a joyful occasion filled with heartfelt moments. Happy 90th birthday to our wonderful Ellen – here’s to many more years of happiness ahead!
