We thought it would be fun to celebrate National American Beer Day together on 27 October here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home.
After some deliberation, the residents and activities team decided to mark the day with a beer tasting activity!
Some of our residents headed off the the shops to pick up some supplies for the activities, plus a few extra treats to enjoy together.
On their return, our residents then enjoyed sampling a range of different beers.
This activity was a hit with so many of our residents who enjoyed having a good chat and laugh together over a refreshing, cold beer.
