Anyone for Haggis?

We enjoyed celebrating Burns Night here at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home on Monday 25 January, when our residents enjoyed sampling some haggis and listening to a reading of Robert Burns poems.

Valentine crafts

We’ve been busy getting ready for Valentine’s Day next month too. Our residents had fun making personalised heart-shaped Valentine’s cards, using glued red and pink tissue paper to create a stained glass window effect. They are looking forward to sending them to their loved ones in February.

Singing with the King

Two of our ladies have also had a lovely time with Elvis recently! They sat chatting together, listening to Elvis Presley songs and joining in. It was lovely to see them enjoying a sing along with the King!
