Bonfire Night was a bright and joyful affair at Sonya Lodge Residential Care Home as our residents gathered to enjoy a wonderful evening of fireworks, food and laughter.
Everyone wrapped up warm and took their seats for a dazzling display, with colourful fireworks lighting up the night sky and filling the air with excitement. There were plenty of “oohs” and “aahs” as each burst sparkled and fizzed, creating a real sense of magic and togetherness.
Tasty treats and toasty drinks
To keep warm while enjoying the show, our residents tucked into delicious hotdogs, followed by creamy hot chocolates topped with all the trimmings – marshmallows, whipped cream, and sprinkles. The combination of cosy treats and spectacular lights made for a perfect Bonfire Night celebration.
A night to remember
The evening was full of smiles and laughter, as everyone chatted about past Bonfire Nights and shared fond memories. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the season and enjoy each other’s company – a true reminder of how much our residents love getting together for fun and festivities.
We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
